Riccione also offers a variety of markets ranging from
antiques to
modern antiques, from
collectibles to
vintage: must-see stops for those looking for unique items or who want to immerse themselves in a special atmosphere, almost suspended in time.
These are, in fact, unique opportunities to learn about
local tradition,
crafts and
culture. Not only that, in addition to providing an opportunity to find special and sometimes valuable items, they are an interesting time for residents and visitors to meet and exchange culture.
Weekly market
In Riccione, the weekly market takes place on
Friday mornings from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. between
Piazza Unità, Viale Diaz and C.so F.lli Cervi. This market is one of the largest and busiest in the area, where you can find items ranging from
clothing and
accessories, to
fresh fruits and vegetables,
cheeses,
cold cuts, and other local food products. It is the ideal place for those looking for quality products at competitive prices, as well as for those who want to discover the food and wine specialties of the area.
Zero-mile food market
It takes place every
Tuesday morning at
Cicchetti Park and on
Saturday mornings at
Fontanelle Market in
Fontanelle Square (Sicilia Avenue). It offers 0-mile agricultural products and is a great opportunity to buy fruits, vegetables and more. The products are fresh, very often organic, and good value for money.
The Piazzetta of Ideas
From March 10 to Dec. 29, every Friday La Piazzetta delle Idee offers a market dedicated to makers of
creative products and
crafts. This event is curated by the Riccione Paese Committee and runs from 8 am to 1 pm.
